The Reference
Where performance, pure analogue recording and meticulous tape duplication meet.

Hear the music, not the medium.
Music speaks to memory and emotion. It can soothe, energise and place a performer in the room with remarkable immediacy. A carefully prepared reel-to-reel edition invites the listener to rediscover the full scale, texture and character of a great recording.
AC Records approaches audiophile music production with an emphasis on the analogue signal path, closely controlled mastering and real-time tape duplication. Its reference-quality editions are made for listeners who value the physical connection between performance, magnetic tape and sound.
Designed for the analogue listener.
Recorded with intention. Reproduced with care.
The performance first
Founded by drummer, composer and producer Adam Czerwiński, AC Records champions distinguished Polish and international jazz performers. The label’s catalogue celebrates musical interpretation, natural timbre, dynamics and the authentic energy of a performance.
Analogue recording
Selected productions employ analogue multitrack or stereo tape machines, studio microphones including valve and ribbon designs, and analogue consoles and outboard equipment. Exact microphones, machines and mastering workflows are specific to each recording.
Individual editions
Master-tape copies are prepared to order. AC Records describes certification and carefully controlled transfers for its audiophile reel releases, with tape stock, reel configuration and equalisation indicated in the individual listing.
From playback to recording — a focused signal chain.
The published AC Records duplication specification identifies the equipment used in its Custom34 Studio tape-copying process.
Current product pages specify RTM LPR90 tape for single-reel editions and RTM900 for double-reel editions, with aluminium reels from Feinwerktechnik and NAB equalisation as standard; CCIR may be requested. Confirm each release’s specification before ordering.

Custom34 Studio · Gdańsk
AC Records product notes describe original analogue sessions, carefully chosen microphones, Studer tape machines and studio mastering in Gdańsk. The equipment list differs from album to album.
Abbey Road · London
Selected recordings were mastered or cut for vinyl at Abbey Road Studios, including documented work by Sean Magee and Alex Wharton. This is a release-specific credit rather than a claim that every AC Records title was mastered there.
Certificate of authenticity
AC Records includes certificates of authenticity with listed master-tape editions. Numbering, signatures, packaging and delivery details should be checked against the particular product edition.
Adam Czerwiński — the musician behind AC Records
A Polish jazz drummer, composer, arranger and producer, Adam Czerwiński founded AC Records around a belief in musical performance and high-fidelity analogue sound.
His career includes a wide range of sessions and collaborations in jazz and related music, working with Polish musicians such as Jarosław Śmietana, Zbigniew Namysłowski and Krzesimir Dębski, alongside international performers. AC Records brings this experience into a catalogue spanning vinyl records, compact discs and magnetic master-tape editions.
